June 1, 2011: Staff of The Summerset Review will be reading from our very first issue, at The New York Public Library, in an event sponsored by the CLMP. Please join us Saturday, June 11, 4-6:30pm in celebrating the start of our nine-year history.

May 11, 2011: Mabel Yu’s short story, "The Artist Conversations," published in our Fall 2010 issue, and Hoyt Rogers’ short story, "Altagracia’s Dream," published in our Spring 2010 issue, were listed as Notable Online Stories of 2010 in storySouth's annual Million Writers Award.

May 11, 2011: Kim Garcia’s poem, “Oil,” published in our Summer 2010 issue, was listed as a finalist in Sundress Publications’ Best of the Net award.

May 11, 2011: Copies of our print issues will be on sale for $2 each at the annual CLMP Literary Magazine Book Fair in Soho. Sunday, June 12. 12pm-5pm. The Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, 126 Crosby Street, New York, NY. This is a wonderful event for literary magazine lovers. All proceeds go to charitable causes.

March 28, 2011: Zane Kotker, two-time contributor, has a chapbook of poetry coming out this spring, titled Old Ladies in the Locker Room and Pool. It is being published by Finishing Line Press in Kentucky.

March 28, 2011: We are offering for the first time, ePub (Nook-compatible) and Kindle versions of The Summerset Review. You may download the file for free from the Table of Contents page. We also continue to make available the PDF version for free. Thanks goes out to our dedicated friend, Bill, who volunteered his time to generate the e-reader document files.
